
3D DESIGN PROCESS
PHASE 1
In the beginning I use primitive shapes to block-out the scene. This makes it easy to change things around, while still providing a solid foundation. Where I can arrange a basic lighting setup before adding too much detail.
PHASE 2
At this stage I start adding larger detail elements like the car, tents and street lamps. Then I’ll go back through and add smaller elements like the fruit stand props.
PHASE 3
The last phase I treat as a testing phase. I’ll do some test renders to ensure textures are rendering correctly and scaled properly according the objects they are on. Adjust lighting based on how it interacts with the various elements that were added after the first stage. And finally I’ll render the full scene with all elements together.
